Beauty and the Bun - Short Film
Frame in Time - Short Film
Producer & Director
As a versatile production coordinator, I orchestrated the creation of "Beauty and the Bun," a captivating short film shot during the summer in Brisbane, Australia. With a small budget, I navigated the city's diverse landscapes, scouting over 21 locations and casting seven characters ranging from age 8 to 67. Among these locations, my favorite moments included orchestrating scenes where we splattered fake paint in the city streets (with a proper permit of course) on the main actress, whom was dressed as a crab, a costume I had made for the film.
"Frame in Time" stands as my inaugural venture into the realm of filmmaking, where I not only wrote, produced, and directed the project but also achieved a remarkable feat: securing the shutdown of Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge—a feat that had eluded other production companies. This ambitious endeavor served as a testament to my determination and ingenuity in overcoming logistical hurdles to realize my creative vision. Additionally, securing the location of a Ferris wheel provided another highlight of the production, offering a dynamic and visually stunning setting that became a favorite for shooting scenes.
My dual roles as producer and director enabled me to synchronize all aspects of the production, ensuring a seamless and cohesive vision. Through effective communication and strategic decision-making, I overcame challenges to deliver these films that surpassed expectations, showcasing my resourcefulness, creativity, and leadership skills.
